Insight fades in a week. A habit, practised once in real work, does not.
We have learned that the workshop is only the beginning. Lasting change happens in the space between events, through small, deliberate experiments carried back into someone’s actual job. For Microsoft’s Manager Reboot, we built the entire programme around this: managers practised three simple habits, Pause, Zoom Out, and Be in Choice, through personal missions between sessions, then came back and shared what happened with their peers. Individual practice became collective learning. That is the whole method: build the will first, and the skill follows more easily than anyone expects.
We also use missions to turn learning into commercial value directly. Rather than a case study about someone else’s business, we send people to be advisors and consultants on a real internal challenge, with a real customer, solving something that actually needs solving. For one banking client, that approach generated an average of USD 500,000 of new income per project.
Who this is for
- Organisations who have run training before and watched it fade within weeks
- Leaders who want proof that a programme changed behaviour, not just that people attended it
- Teams who want learning to generate real commercial value, not just capability
How it works
- We identify the specific habit or behaviour that needs to shift, not a generic competency.
- We design small, real missions that put that habit into practice inside someone's actual work, not a simulation of it.
- People return to reflect and share what happened, turning individual experiments into shared, organisational learning.
- Where useful, we connect missions to a real business challenge with a genuine internal customer, so the learning creates measurable value along the way.
What is included
- Personalised missions built around specific habits or behaviours, not generic homework
- Structured reflection and peer-sharing sessions between missions
- Coaching support to help people apply what a mission surfaced
- Real business project missions, with a genuine internal customer and a measurable outcome, where relevant
On Microsoft's Manager Reboot, over 2,700 learners across 8 countries rated that the habits taught would help them shape culture and increase their impact as a leader at 4.75 out of 5, delivered through personal missions practised between sessions and shared with peers.
For one banking client, sending learners to work as advisors on real business challenges generated an average of USD 500,000 of new income per project.
"I saw such transformation happen in myself and others over the three days of the programme, individuals growing and relationships becoming more authentic and trusting."

Nobody changes because they were told to. They change because they tried something small, in their own work, and it worked. That is what a mission is for.
